Woody’s Dog Blog

Well hello, I’m Woody Allen (Mr) and this is my dog blog. I work in the shop about 4 days a week, but I’ve got a limited range of responsibilities in the shop, aside from meeting and greeting, and so I thought it was about time I used my time a bit more sensibly. I’m sure you’re all dying to know how many rabbits I’ve caught lately (approximately one, except it had myxamatosis or something apparently so it didn’t count as it was quite easy to catch on account of it being nearly dead) and who I hang out with. Oh, and what I’ve had for my tea.

As you can tell already, I have a rich and varied life.

One of my best friends is called Lilly, pictured here lounging on a mini cushtie which she got from my shop actually. Lilly is a lovely pooch and we get on great. Her mum used to work in my shop and that’s how we met. She’s very energetic and sometimes her little ladies, Louisa and Alice take us for long walks up at Shotover which is huuuge and full of rabbits, deer and running people in tight shorts. The rabbits are pretty quick up there and I’ve never seen any of those running people get one even though their legs are about 85 times longer than mine.

Once upon a time, when I lived near Shotover, my ma went to pick up a stick to play with me, but it wasn’t a stick at all, it was a SNAKE! Ooh, that made me so cross. I went to get it and it bit me on the nose! I couldn’t believe it. So I picked it up in my jaws and flung it about a bit, until I got told off and had to let it go. It slithered away into the swamp but I think we’d safely ascertained who was boss.

PS: Here are a couple of my favourite games. Bubblewrap is good for wasting time completely pointlessly, and Frisbee Dog is super duper fun but quite bloody if you can’t throw very well. Have fun!
